Target Audience
This activity is directed toward a global audience of medical oncologists, hematologic oncologists, hematologists, NP/PAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of GvHD.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Explain the pathological mechanisms of acute and chronic GvHD underlying the rationale for therapeutic approaches to prevent and treat these post-transplant complications
- Evaluate the latest clinical evidence for therapeutic strategies investigated for the prevention and treatment of acute/chronic GvHD
- Apply strategies to promote the timely recognition and mitigation of treatment-related toxicities in patients at risk of developing GvHD or who are treated for GvHD
- Translate evidence-based approaches for the prophylaxis and treatment of acute and chronic GvHD into personalized treatment plans for patients after transplantation, to prevent or manage these post-transplant complications
