Activity Overview

Clinical Crossroads™ uses a unique case-based format featuring a series of patient-clinician videos that follow the journey of a patient with Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS), a rare neuromuscular junction disorder that is often misdiagnosed as myasthenia gravis. Through realistic clinical encounters and expert faculty discussion, learners will explore the differential diagnosis of LEMS, review key technical considerations for accurate diagnosis, and examine evidence-based approaches to management. The videos also highlight the potential consequences of delayed diagnosis and underscore the importance of timely recognition and appropriate treatment.

Target Audience

This educational initiative is directed toward neurologists, physician assistants, and other health care professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders.
