Target Audience
This activity is directed toward hematologists, medical oncologists, hematologic oncologists, hematopathologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of hemolytic anemias.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Determine the pathophysiological mechanisms of the rare hemolytic anemias PNH, aHUS, PKD, wAIHA, and aplastic anemia (AA)
- Explain recent diagnostic criteria for PNH, aHUS, PKD, wAIHA, and AA, with a focus on differential diagnosis methods
- Evaluate efficacy/safety data on current and emerging therapeutic options for PNH, aHUS, PKD, wAIHA, and AA
- Apply evidence from pivotal trials that assessed therapeutic options for hemolytic anemias to manage real-world clinical scenarios of patients with these diseases, including treatment-related toxicity management
