Target Audience
This educational activity is intended for medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists involved in the treatment of patients with breast cancer. Fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals interested in the treatment of breast cancer may also participate.
Learning Objectives
- Integrate genomic and molecular biomarker findings into individualized treatment strategies for patients with early-stage and metastatic breast cancer
- Evaluate emerging data from key clinical trials and their implications for the management of early-stage and advanced/metastatic breast cancer
- Apply current evidence and guideline recommendations to develop stage-specific, personalized treatment plans for patients with breast cancer
- Implement evidence-based strategies to prevent and manage treatment-related adverse events in breast cancer care
