Activity Overview
This symposium brings together renowned experts in low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC) to discuss evidence-based best practices in the histopathologic and immunohistochemical diagnosis of LGSOC. In this educational program, experts review molecular profiling results in the context of targeted therapy eligibility for recurrent LGSOC and discuss strategies for structured pathology reporting and longitudinal molecular retesting to support treatment decisions throughout the disease course.
This educational activity is an archive of the live virtual symposium held on October 5, 2026.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward pathologists, medical oncologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of LGSOC.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Apply histopathologic, immunohistochemical, and molecular criteria to accurately distinguish LGSOC from other serous ovarian neoplasms
- Interpret molecular profiling results in the context of targeted therapy eligibility in recurrent LGSOC
- Evaluate strategies for structured pathology reporting and longitudinal molecular retesting that support timely multidisciplinary team treatment decisions across the LGSOC disease course
