Activity Overview
As the number of targeted cancer therapies continues to grow, multidisciplinary care is essential for identifying and managing therapy-related adverse events. In this online, on-demand activity, faculty experts focus on best practices for recognizing and addressing ocular toxicities associated with antibody-drug conjugates, monoclonal antibodies, and selective estrogen receptor degraders to optimize patient outcomes. This educational activity is an archive of the live symposium held on October 1, 2026.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward optometrists, ophthalmologists, oncologists, and other eye care professionals involved in the care of patients experiencing ocular toxicities secondary to targeted cancer therapies.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Explain the mechanistic drivers of ocular adverse events associated with antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), and next-generation targeted cancer therapies across tumor types
- Apply evidence-based prophylactic, monitoring, and management strategies for ocular adverse events associated with specific anticancer agents
- Implement eye care assessments into multidisciplinary oncology workflows by utilizing structured reporting, standardized terminology, and proactive communication
- Construct shared decision-making strategies that engage patients in ocular toxicity prevention, symptom reporting, and risk–benefit discussions
