Overview:
HER2-mutant NSCLC is undergoing rapid transformation as new HER2-directed therapies, including next-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors and antibody-drug conjugates, move into earlier lines of treatment. Clinicians face ongoing challenges related to optimal biomarker testing, interpretation of emerging efficacy and safety data across HER2 mutation subtypes, selection of frontline therapy, sequencing after progression, and management of treatment-related toxicities.
This 90-minute hybrid Show Me the Data™ satellite symposium,
presented adjunct to the 2026 ESMO Congress in Madrid, will use case-based
discussions, audience polling, focused data presentations, and expert panel
discussion. The program will help clinicians translate emerging HER2-directed
evidence into practical treatment strategies for patients with HER2-mutant
NSCLC.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify current best practices for HER2 biomarker testing in NSCLC, including assay selection, timing, and integration into clinical workflows.
- Evaluate recent and emerging clinical trial data supporting the use of HER2-directed therapies in HER2-mutant NSCLC.
- Develop personalized treatment strategies for patients with HER2-mutant NSCLC, incorporating evidence-based sequencing decisions, management of intracranial disease, and proactive mitigation of treatment-related toxicities
Target Audience:
This educational activity is directed toward oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and other HCPs involved in the diagnosis and treatment of NSCLC.
