Release Date: February 26, 2025
Expiration Date: February 26, 2026
Activity Overview
In recent years, a variety of novel biomarker-driven treatment options have emerged for the management of advanced esophagogastric adenocarcinomas, with rapid advances in making the best use of immunotherapies and targeted agents. Moreover, there are new developments in the use of immunotherapy for patients with both early-stage and metastatic disease. This program will bring together world experts in the management of esophagogastric cancer to discuss new and emerging treatment principles for these cancers, presented in the context of challenging case scenarios.
This educational activity is an archive of the live symposium held on January 24, 2025.
Target Audience
This educational program is directed toward medical oncologists, pathologists, surgical oncologists, and other physicians involved in the management of gastrointestinal cancers.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Analyze data evaluating immunotherapy in the management of early- to late-stage gastric, gastroesophageal junction (GEJ), and esophageal adenocarcinoma
- Examine emerging clinical data on immunotherapy-based treatment strategies in the context of current treatment paradigms for gastric, GEJ, and esophageal adenocarcinoma.
- Select appropriate treatment for a patient with gastric, GEJ, or esophageal adenocarcinoma based on patient-, molecular testing-, disease-, and treatment-related factors.
- Identify strategies to mitigate and manage treatment-related adverse events in patients with gastric, GEJ, or esophageal adenocarcinoma.
