10th Annual School of Nursing Oncology™ (SONO)

Overview

Oncology nurses encounter numerous challenges in implementing therapies that enhance survivorship and manage symptoms. To meet these challenges, they require ongoing education on the latest cancer treatments and best practices. Keeping abreast of the newest clinical data and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team are crucial for achieving the best patient outcomes. Nurses need to bridge knowledge gaps by staying informed about recent advancements and applying new strategies in clinical practice.

The School of Nursing Oncology™ is dedicated to enhancing learning through a variety of educational formats, emphasizing multidisciplinary cancer care from the nurse's perspective. This event will highlight the latest advancements and management strategies, fostering interaction and idea exchange through panel discussions, case studies, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities. PER's effective educational methods ensure a highly interactive and collaborative meeting environment.

A block of rooms has been set aside at the New York Hilton Midtown with a special 44th Annual CFS^® nightly rate of $369 (single/double) plus applicable state and local taxes. The urban destination fee of $30 is waived for all guests reserving in the CFS room block. Guests have 24-hour access to the fitness center and each guest room is equipped with several fine in-room amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi.

Advisory Board or Ancillary Meeting Definition

Any meeting whose invited participants are professional attendees of the Conference, such as doctors and physicians will be considered an Advisory Board (Ad Board) or Ancillary Meeting. This includes activities such as round-table discussions, investigator meetings, social gatherings and meet the specialist‐type meetings.

A fee is applicable for hosting these meetings, with the amount being dependent on the type and size of your meeting.

Blackout Times

There are many programs being scheduled throughout our conferences. With that, the black out hours across our meeting are as follows:

• One day prior to the conferences
• The duration of the conference
• One day post conference

A cancellation fee of 25% will be assessed on refunds requested 90 days before the start date, a 50% fee on refunds requested 60 days before the start date, and a 75% fee on refunds requested 30 days before the start date. No refunds will be made after 30 days before the start date. There is no charge for substitution. Substitutions can only be applied to the same conference and only two substitutions will be honored.

In the event of a meeting cancellation, full refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

PER^® reserves the exclusive rights to all recordings or reproductions of the conference and supporting materials. Unauthorized recording, by any means, is expressly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, recording of presentations or reproductions of supporting audio/visual materials, exhibits, and other supporting continuing education materials.
