Overview:
Patients with plaque psoriasis,
atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa continue to experience
challenges with disease control, despite the availability of biologics and
targeted small molecules capable of producing rapid, durable skin clearance and
meaningful symptom relief. A key contributor is therapeutic inertia: the
failure to initiate or escalate therapy when treatment targets are not met. This CME-accredited,
live (and online) satellite symposium at the 2026 Elevate-Derm Fall Conference brings
together expert faculty to define high-efficacy therapy, clarify escalation
triggers, and highlight treat-to-target reassessment windows across these three
dermatologic conditions.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the role of high-efficacy therapies within the treatment paradigm for dermatologic conditions, including plaque psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa
- Implement evidence-based approaches that address therapeutic inertia in dermatologic disease management
Target Audience:
This
educational activity is directed toward Dermatologists, Dermatology NP's and
PA's, and other members of the health care team who manage patients with plaque
psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa.
