Activity Overview
This video-based program is designed for eye care professionals to explore the management of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) or diabetic macular edema (DME) using newer anti-VEGF agents with the potential for extended treatment intervals. This program places the patient’s voice front and center as an individual with nAMD shares his journey living with the condition and its treatment requirements.
Target Audience
This online educational activity is directed toward retina specialists and other eye care professionals involved in managing neovascular retinal diseases (ie, nAMD, DME).
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Identify unmet needs and treatment burden associated with conventional therapies for patients with DME and nAMD
- Evaluate recent clinical trials and real-world data on the safety, effectiveness, and durability of the ranibizumab port delivery system and other anti-VEGF therapies for patients with DME and nAMD
- Apply best practices to guide the use of the ranibizumab port delivery system and other anti-VEGF therapies when managing patients with DME and nAMD
