Activity Overview

This video-based program is designed for health care professionals to explore strategies for individualizing care in patients with hemophilia A through a unique perspective, putting the patient voice front and center. A patient will lend their expertise to this program by sharing their journey living with hemophilia A. This online activity focuses on the burden of hemophilic arthropathy and current and emerging treatment options for prevention of synovitis, with a focus on how to personalize care for optimal outcomes.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward hematologists, primary care physicians, specialty NPs, PAs, RNs, and other HCPs that manage patients with Hemophilia A.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

  • Describe the burden of disease of hemophilic arthropathy on patients with hemophilia A
  • Summarize approaches to identifying patients with hemophilia who are at high risk for joint damage
  • Evaluate clinical trial data for current and emerging treatment options for the prophylactic care of patients with hemophilia A
  • Formulate individualized prophylactic treatment plans to reduce the risk of hemophilic arthropathy for patients with hemophilia
