Activity Overview
This video-based program is designed for healthcare professionals to explore the diagnosis and treatment of patients with allergic conjunctivitis through a unique perspective, putting the patient voice front and center. A patient will lend their expertise to this program by sharing their journey living with allergic conjunctivitis. This online activity focuses on the pathophysiology and etiology of allergic conjunctivitis, the clinical presentation and diagnostic evaluation, and the efficacy and safety of therapies recommended for symptom control.
Target Audience
This online educational activity is directed towards ophthalmologists and optometrists. Additional clinicians who may have the opportunity to diagnosis/treat patients with allergic conjunctivitis may also participate.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Describe the relationship between the pathophysiology and clinical presentation of allergic conjunctivitis.
- Recognize approaches to improve timely and accurate identification of patients with allergic conjunctivitis.
- Integrate disease burden sparing therapies into clinical practice to optimize patient management and improve quality of life.
