Activity Overview
This video-based program is designed for health care professionals to gain insights into the burden of conventional treatment for patients with hypoparathyroidism and to review recent guidelines on diagnosing and managing hypoparathyroidism. A patient with the condition shares her experience with different therapies and provides behind-the-scenes perspectives to give endocrinologists and other clinicians a deeper understanding of living with the condition. In addition, an expert in hypoparathyroidism shares key takeaways on individualizing therapy for patients.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward endocrinologists, primary care physicians, nephrologists, endocrine surgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with hypoparathyroidism are also invited to participate.
