Date: June 19, 2023
Time: 12:30-1:30pm ET
Overview:
The treatment of multiple myeloma is continually evolving with the introduction of novel therapies and new combination regimens. These advances present ongoing opportunities to tailor treatment approaches for patients with multiple myeloma based on disease-related and patient-related factors.
This activity will update oncology health care professionals on the most recent data from key abstracts focusing on multiple myeloma that were presented at the June 2023 annual meetings of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), held in Chicago, Illinois, and the European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress held in Frankfurt, Germany. By placing the data in clinical context, oncology practitioners can assess and apply these findings to their clinical practice and ultimately improve care for their patients with multiple myeloma.
Target audience:
This educational activity is directed toward hematologist/medical oncologists, NPs and nurses interested in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
Learning objectives:
- Describe the novel targets and mechanisms of actions for emerging therapeutic agents under evaluation for MM management
- Evaluate recent trial data from studies that assessed emerging therapies among patients with MM
- Devise strategies to effectively monitor and care for patients with treatment-related toxicities in R/R MM care settings
- Investigate the clinical implications of MM clinical trials in the context of rapidly changing treatment paradigms in the field
Benefits of Attending:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data on the treatment of multiple myeloma hot off the press from the 2023 ASCO and EHA meetings
- Gain insights into how new evidence can be implemented into your practice right away
- Ask our expert panel your most burning questions about new and future directions for the treatment of multiple myeloma
Hot Topics:
- Is CAR T-cell therapy ready for use in early relapsed settings?
- How do bispecific T-cell engagers fit into new treatment paradigms for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma?
- What is the latest data on novel combination regimens?
- Are there any new insights into optimal sequencing strategies?
