Overview:

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common hematologic leukemia among adults worldwide. Treatment for CLL has rapidly evolved away from chemoimmunotherapy to therapy that disrupts B-cell receptor signaling. Inhibitors of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) and B-cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) are now standard treatment pillars in the care of patients with CLL. Clinical trials continue to optimize these treatments in order to maximize efficacy, minimize toxicity, and address areas of unmet need.

Oncology Town Hall™: Primary Investigators Present Key Abstracts in CLL from San Diego is a CME-certified webcast designed to rapidly disseminate new clinically relevant data, stressing the clinical relevance. This program will discuss the data from studies in CLL presented at the annual hematology meeting. Importantly, faculty will provide critical context that highlights clinical relevance.

Learning objectives:

  • Describe how patient-specific characteristics and MRD have informed trial designs and risk stratification in recent studies conducted among patients with CLL
  • Assess efficacy findings from studies evaluating novel strategies for patients with CLL in multiple lines of care
  • Explain treatment-related adverse events and their management from recent trials conducted among patients with CLL
  • Determine the ramifications of recent CLL trial results in the context of evolving treatment paradigms for these patients

    Target audience:

This educational activity is directed toward hematologists, oncologists, NPs and nurses interested in the treatment of CLL.

    Benefits of Attending:
