Activity Overview
This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together renowned experts in weight loss. In this educational program, these experts review current guidelines for obesity management and recommendations for the use of currently approved obesity medications and provide insights into investigational agents that may increase health care professionals’ ability to personalize therapy.
This educational activity is an archive of a live virtual symposium held on June 5, 2026.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward endocrinologists, diabetes specialists, dietitians, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses. Other health care professionals involved in the care of patients with obesity are also invited to participate.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Outline guideline-recommended best practices for the management of obesity and associated comorbidities
- Evaluate clinical trial efficacy and safety data for current and emerging therapies for the management of obesity
- Implement recommended procedures to prevent, minimize, or manage adverse events associated with anti-obesity medications (AOMs)
- Design individualized, comprehensive, guideline-supported AOM-based treatment plans that optimize short- and long-term clinical outcomes while improving health-related quality of life in patients with obesity
