This educational program offers expert perspectives on individualizing glaucoma therapy with topical medications, selective laser trabeculoplasty, sustained-release drug implants, and micro-invasive glaucoma surgery procedures, providing key take-home insights for optimizing glaucoma management across diverse patient profiles.

Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other eyecare professionals involved in the management of patients with glaucoma.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Describe the role of the conventional (trabecular) pathway for aqueous outflow in the development of ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma
- Evaluate the mechanisms of traditional and novel topical agents for intraocular pressure lowering, including their aqueous outflow targets
- Assess nontopical therapies available for management of ocular hypertension and open-angle glaucoma, including laser procedures and sustained drug delivery options
- Implement the latest advances in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery in appropriate patients
