Activity Overview

Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists,
surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, and
hepatologists who are interested in the treatment of GI cancers. Nurse
practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pathologists, pharmacists, and
other health care professionals involved in the treatment and management of
patients with GI cancers are invited to attend.
Learning Objectives
- Evaluate the clinical impact of recent findings from landmark trials of emerging treatment strategies for the management of GI cancers
- Apply evolving evidence into individualized, multidisciplinary care strategies to improve outcomes for patients with GI cancers
- Implement best practices for preventing, recognizing, and managing TRAEs associated with novel therapies used for the management of GI cancers
