Overview

Physicians’ Education Resource^®, LLC (PER®), is pleased to present the 2026 International Symposium of Gastrointestinal Oncology^® (ISGIO), a 2-day, multidisciplinary educational conference dedicated to presenting and discussing the latest advances in the broad field of gastrointestinal (GI) cancer research, as well as critical issues relevant to the care of persons with GI cancer.

Management of GI malignancies has evolved across all disciplines, from screening to prognostication to treatment approaches of all modalities. However, many patients do not fall neatly into guideline-based treatment, and the volume of clinical trial data makes it difficult to parse findings that should inform treatment.

This highly engaging conference brings together world-renowned experts from different disciplines to educate clinicians using a combination of case-based learning, debates, and panel discussions. This dynamic, multi-format program is designed to be a comprehensive review of the emerging treatment landscape for GI cancers, with the goal of elucidating the complex array of recent studies that should inform clinician practice.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, learners will be better able to:

• Integrate biomarker testing results to individualize treatment selection for patients with GI cancers
• Evaluate the latest efficacy and safety data for newly approved therapies, novel combinations, and emerging agents in GI cancers
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with GI cancers based on current evidence and clinical guidelines
• Incorporate new clinical data to effectively sequence available therapies and optimize patient outcomes
• Apply evidence-based strategies to proactively monitor, prevent, and manage treatment-related adverse events in patients receiving novel therapies and combination regimens

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward oncologists and practitioners of oncology subspecialties, along with surgeons, radiologists, general scientists, young investigators, nurses, and pharmacists with an interest in GI oncology. Other health care professionals interested in the treatment of these malignancies are also invited to participate.

Physicians’ Education Resource^®, LLC, is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians’ Education Resource^®, LLC, designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Medical Oncologists (ABIM)

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn 12.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Advisory Board or Ancillary Meeting Definition

Any meeting whose invited participants are professional attendees of the Conference, such as doctors and physicians will be considered an Advisory Board (Ad Board) or Ancillary Meeting. This includes activities such as round-table discussions, investigator meetings, social gatherings and meet the specialist‐type meetings.

A fee is applicable for hosting these meetings, with the amount being dependent on the type and size of your meeting.

Blackout Times

There are many programs being scheduled throughout our conferences. With that, the black out hours across our meeting are as follows:

• One day prior to the conferences
• The duration of the conference
• One day post conference

A cancellation fee of 25% will be assessed on refunds requested 90 days before the start date, a 50% fee on refunds requested 60 days before the start date, and a 75% fee on refunds requested 30 days before the start date. No refunds will be made after 30 days before the start date. There is no charge for substitution. Substitutions can only be applied to the same conference and only two substitutions will be honored.

In the event of a meeting cancellation, full refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

PER^® reserves the exclusive rights to all recordings or reproductions of the conference and supporting materials. Unauthorized recording, by any means, is expressly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, recording of presentations or reproductions of supporting audio/visual materials, exhibits, and other supporting continuing education materials.
