Overview:

HER2-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has entered a new era of targeted therapy integration, with the FDA approval of two next-generation HER2-selective tyrosine kinase inhibitors and continued investigation of antibody-drug conjugates across multiple lines of care. As HER2-directed therapies move into the frontline setting, clinicians face increasingly complex decisions around optimal agent selection, cross-class sequencing after progression, and management of class-specific toxicities.

This live, CME/CE-certified Medical Crossfire will convene expert faculty to debate how to translate the rapidly evolving TKI and ADC evidence base into individualized, evidence-driven treatment strategies for patients with HER2-mutant NSCLC. Presented adjunct to the 2026 IASLC | ASCO North America Conference on Lung Cancer (NACLC), the program will feature dynamic panel debate, practical clinical pearls, and the latest pivotal trial data to help clinicians select and sequence HER2-directed therapies across the treatment continuum.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Implement an evidence-based approach to HER2 biomarker evaluation in NSCLC, incorporating appropriate assay selection, optimal testing timing, and coordinated use of tissue and liquid biopsy platforms
  • Evaluate recent and emerging efficacy and safety data for HER2-directed agents in HER2-mutant NSCLC
  • Develop patient-centered treatment strategies for HER2-mutant NSCLC that account for therapy sequencing, CNS disease management, and anticipatory toxicity surveillance

          Target Audience:

This educational activity is directed toward oncologists, pathologists, NPs/PAs, nurses, pharmacists, and other HCPs involved in the management of NSCLC.
