Activity Overview
The therapeutic armamentarium for management of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has quickly expanded over the past decade with the introduction of novel immunotherapy- and targeted therapy–based approaches. While this evolution of practice offers unprecedented opportunities for patient benefit, it also places substantial strain on busy clinicians to remain updated.
This on-demand symposium webcast is designed to provide clinicians with current best practices for selection and delivery of therapy across the disease continuum for RCC. Through didactic presentations and case-based discussions, participants will be given the opportunity to learn about key principles for optimal treatment selection for individual patients.
This educational activity is an archive of the live hybrid symposium held on February 17, 2023.
Target Audience
This educational program is directed toward oncologists, urologists, and other allied health care professionals who treat or manage RCC.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Evaluate the mechanistic rationale for evaluating targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and combinations to manage RCC
- Assess the implications of recent trial data on novel therapies and combinations in the context of evolving treatment paradigms for high-risk, advanced/metastatic, and early-stage RCC
- Determine effective strategies for the identification and management of treatment-related toxicities among patients who receive care for RCC
- Devise personalized care plans for RCC by incorporating methods to stratify risk, clinical trial evidence, and patient- and tumor-specific characteristics
