Medical Crossfire®: BPDCN in 2026—Expert Perspectives on Diagnosis, Frontline Therapy, and the Evolving CD123-Directed Pipeline

Activity Overview

Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN) is a rare and aggressive hematologic malignancy that presents significant diagnostic and treatment challenges. While tagraxofusp remains the only approved therapy, an expanding CD123-directed pipeline—including pivekimab sunirine, bispecific antibodies, and CAR T-cell therapies—is reshaping the treatment landscape and creating a need for clinicians to stay current with emerging evidence.

This Medical Crossfire^® program features expert-led, case-based discussions on diagnosis, frontline treatment strategies, emerging CD123-directed therapies, and multidisciplinary care. The debate-driven format will help clinicians interpret new data and apply evolving evidence to the management of patients with BPDCN.

Target Audience

• Implement evidence-based protocols for capillary leak syndrome prevention and management while preserving treatment intensity in patients with BPDCN
• Integrate transplant referral, clinical trial enrollment, and multidisciplinary supportive care into BPDCN treatment plans tailored for older adults; pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients; and patients with central nervous system involvement
