Activity Overview

Over the past decade, oncology has begun to leverage a rapidly maturing effort to target the KRAS protein in RAS-altered cancers. This has led to the introduction of targeted therapies with the potential to offer unprecedented benefit to patients. Still, these agents differ greatly in their mechanisms of action, relevant alterations, and adverse event profiles.

In this module, David Hong explains the mechanisms of action of RAS/MAPK inhibitors approved or being investigated for patients with different forms of cancer, as well as how these agents fit into the paradigm of management of RAS-altered cancers.
