Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists,
pathologists, advanced practice providers, and other health care providers
involved in the management of extrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinomas (EP-NECs).
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Assess evolving strategies to accurately diagnose EP-NECs and the emerging role of novel biomarkers, including DLL3, in improving patient selection for targeted therapies
- Evaluate key efficacy and safety data from recent and ongoing clinical trials investigating DLL3-targeted therapies and other emerging treatment strategies for EP-NECs
- Integrate biomarker testing results and emerging clinical evidence into personalized treatment plans for patients with advanced EP-NECs
- Recognize, monitor, and manage treatment-related toxicities associated with emerging DLL3-directed therapies in patients with EP-NECs
