Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists,
advanced practice professionals, pathologists, oncology nurses, and other
health care practitioners who manage patients with breast cancer.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Select among available next-generation endocrine monotherapies and combination strategies for patients with ESR1-mutant, HR+/HER2– advanced breast cancer after CDK4/6 inhibitor progression based on clinical trial data, mutation profile, and patient-specific factors
- Evaluate the rationale and emerging evidence for positioning next-generation endocrine agents in the frontline metastatic setting for HR+/HER2– advanced breast cancer
- Interpret emerging clinical trial data for oral SERDs and PROTACs in early-stage, HR+/HER2– breast cancer to identify patients who may benefit from adjuvant or neoadjuvant next-generation endocrine strategies
