Activity Overview

This activity is a video-based program in which 2 experts discuss the rationale for and approaches to exploiting the novel immunologic target B7-H3. Their discussion is enriched with the use of video animations to illustrate the prognostic impact of B7-H3 expression in cancer, as well as ongoing therapeutic developments in this area. This unique format is designed to help clinicians keep pace with a rapidly evolving immunotherapeutic treatment paradigm across solid tumor oncology.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, and other oncology health care professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

  • Explain mechanisms of tumor progression and resistance that provide the rationale for B7-H3 targeting in solid tumors
  • Assess recent efficacy results from trials that have applied B7-H3-targeted strategies to the treatment of solid tumors
  • Detail treatment-related toxicities from clinical trials investigating emerging B7-H3-targeted approaches to cancer care
  • Evaluate the impact of recent trial evidence on B7-H3-targeted therapies in the context of clinically unmet needs and evolving treatment paradigms in cancer care
