Activity Overview

Selecting the optimal first-line treatment is critical for patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer, with a recent expansion of options for patients with genomically unselected disease. For patients who are able to receive second-line therapy, multiple targeted options should be considered for both KRAS-wildtype and KRAS-mutated pancreatic cancer.

This Community Practice Connections™ program provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from an Oncology Best Practice™: Optimizing Frontline Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Through Best Practices in Treatment Selection and AE Management program. This unique and engaging activity is ideal for the community-based clinician. It focuses on first- and second-line therapies for treating metastatic pancreatic cancer, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. The program is designed for those who did not attend the live meeting and to help reinforce learning for those who did.

Target Audience

This educational program is directed toward academic and community oncologists, advanced practitioners, nurses, and other health care providers involved in the management of pancreatic cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

  • Select first-line therapy for locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer by evaluating biomarkers, clinical factors, and logistical aspects
