This Community Practice Connection™ activity provides an in-depth review of some highlights from the 2026 Community Oncology Connections™: Bridging Academic and Community Connections to Advance Precision and Targeted Care in Neurofibromatosis Type 1 Plexiform Neurofibromas program. This unique and engaging multimedia activity is ideal for community-based clinicians and focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), helping clinicians to gain confidence in managing this complex disease. The program is designed for those who did not attend the live meeting and to help reinforce learning for those who did.

Target Audience

This educational program is primarily directed toward community-based oncologists, nurses, nurse practitioners/advanced practice providers, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of NF1-PNs.

• Apply guideline-based diagnostic criteria to improve accurate identification, classification, and referral of patients with NF1-PNs
