Activity Overview
Clinical Crossroads™ uses an engaging, case-based format featuring a series of patient–clinician videos that follow a patient’s journey from the recognition of seizure clusters through the development of an individualized seizure action plan (SAP). Through realistic clinical encounters and expert faculty discussion, learners will explore factors that may trigger or increase the risk of seizure clusters, recognize when an immediate use medication may be appropriate, and understand how to incorporate an SAP into comprehensive seizure management. The activity emphasizes the value of an SAP in empowering patients and caregivers with a clear, individualized plan for recognizing and responding to seizure clusters.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward general neurologists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health care providers involved in the treatment of seizure clusters.

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Apply strategies to identify patients at risk of developing seizure clusters
- Design individualized management plans for patients at risk of seizure clusters
- Implement counseling strategies regarding the use of rescue therapies in interactions with patients with seizure clusters
