Activity Overview
In this online, on-demand educational video, Gus Alva, MD, DFAPA; and Erin Crown, MHS, PA-C will discuss the utility of oral antipsychotics for the treatment of newly diagnosed and previously treated patients with schizophrenia. The expert faculty will review the importance of shared decision-making, treatment adherence, and treatment switching therapies. Case studies will be reviewed to help illustrate how oral antipsychotics can be incorporated into daily practice.
Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses who specialize in treating patients with schizophrenia.
