Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward
hematologist-oncologists, medical oncologists, nurses, nurse practitioners,
physician assistants, and other health care providers involved in the
management of polycythemia vera (PV) and essential thrombocythemia (ET).
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Analyze recent clinical trial data and guideline updates related to treating PV and ET
- Implement evidence-based treatment strategies for both newly diagnosed and previously treated PV and ET patients
- Identify the best practices for providing supportive care and monitoring symptoms in patients with PV and ET
