This Burst Expert Illustrations and CommentariesTM is a blend of modular education through a text-and-audio format, including a video animation, to provide an overview of current and emerging treatment strategies for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). In this program, hear an expert faculty provide commentary on unmet needs in AML and review a novel therapeutic approach of E-selectin inhibition. The activity is enriched with the use of video animation to illustrate the mechanism of action of e-selection inhibition and its potential role in enhancing currently approved AML therapeutics. This unique format is designed to help clinicians delve into novel therapeutics in the management of AML and to ultimately improve outcomes for their patients with this disease.
