This online educational activity is designed to provide expert interpretation of new and emerging data on the treatment of heart failure (HF) in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), with a forward-looking perspective on how new and novel agents might affect clinical practice. The essentials of HF and CKD disease classification, clinical trial data, and current and emerging treatment strategies will be reviewed.

Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward cardiologists, nephrologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals involved in the management of edema in patients with CKD and HF.
