Activity Overview
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) can be challenging to diagnose, particularly early in the disease course. As a result, diagnostic delay is common, which often leads to missed opportunities for disease-modifying treatment. Although disease management remains largely symptomatic and palliative, new therapies with the potential to improve patient outcomes are emerging. In this program, an ALS expert will discuss strategies to support earlier identification and confirmatory testing, as well as insights into current and emerging ALS therapies. This activity is recorded from the live event held on September 19, 2026.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for neuromuscular specialists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses who treat neuromuscular diseases.
