Activity Overview
The treatment landscape for HR+/HER2– metastatic breast cancer (MBC) continues to evolve rapidly with the introduction of next-generation endocrine therapies and targeted strategies designed to overcome endocrine resistance. The emergence of oral selective estrogen receptor degraders and therapies targeting the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway has expanded treatment options across multiple lines of therapy. Recent clinical trials demonstrate meaningful improvements in clinical outcomes with these approaches and raise important questions regarding optimal sequencing, biomarker-directed therapy selection, and integration of combination strategies following progression on CDK4/6 inhibitor–based regimens.
In this program, expert-led presentations contextualize pivotal trial findings and guideline updates, and interactive case discussions enable faculty to explore real-world clinical scenarios, helping clinicians translate evolving evidence into individualized treatment strategies for patients with HR+/HER2– MBC.
