PER Postgame™: Reporting the Latest Global Updates Across the Treatment of Breast Cancer

16 November 2021

19:00 – 20:30 CET

Overview

Clinical trial data first presented at major oncology conferences can often have an impact on the optimal breast cancer treatment of patients across the globe. These findings can range from high-profile phase 3 trial data and guidance on treatment efficacy in specific patient subsets to genomic assays or the promise of emerging novel agents. Unfortunately, many community oncologists are unable to attend these annual meetings and need another way to stay abreast of the latest information to provide cutting-edge care to patients.

The PER Postgame™ series is an original, live webcast offering in-depth data recaps focused on novel therapeutic agents, diagnostic techniques, and emerging treatment strategies discussed at important medical meetings. This inaugural program features global experts interpreting key data released at the 2021 ESMO Congress and providing insights into how it may affect the course of breast cancer treatment and the future of clinical practice and patient quality of life.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward medical, radiation, and surgical oncologists interested in the treatment of breast cancer.

Benefits of Attending

  • Gain insights into the pathology of breast cancer and the identification of novel biomarkers that guide treatment decisions
  • Ask experts how they manage patients with hormone receptor–positive (HR+), HER2-negative breast cancer
  • Determine how to sequence recently approved HER2-targeted therapies into current treatment paradigms for advanced breast cancer
  • Discover emerging treatment regimens for patients with triple-negative breast cancer

Acknowledgment of Commercial Support

This activity is supported by educational grants from Gilead Sciences, Inc., Sanofi Genzyme, and Seagen Inc.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess emerging data for risk stratification and genomic testing to guide treatment planning for patients with breast cancer
  • Evaluate recently reported safety and efficacy data on emerging treatment strategies in breast cancer
  • Identify key patient eligibility criteria for recent and ongoing clinical trials and the relevance of these to treatment selection for patients with breast cancer
  • Determine the clinical implications of recently reported data for treatment paradigms in breast cancer
