In order to request this CME/CE activity for your center, please contact Samantha Zelasko at SZelasko@gotoper.com

Start date: November 30, 2021

Overview

Oncology Best Practice™ is a nationwide series of live, regional activities held in locations across the US that are deemed to have the highest educational need. This educational activity will focus on the selection and sequencing of therapy for relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM). New data will be presented, treatment algorithms to improve care will be explored, and challenging cases and supportive measures for patients who have been exposed to multiple rounds of therapy will be discussed. We look forward to your joining us to learn how to bring the latest innovative cancer treatment to your patients.

Benefits of Attending

  • Enjoy an evening of direct interaction with experts in R/R MM
  • Learn how the experts and your peers manage challenging cases of heavily pretreated R/R MM
  • Ask experts about best practices in supportive care for patients with R/R MM who have been exposed to multiple rounds of therapy

Target Audience

This activity is directed toward medical oncologists and hematologist/oncologists who treat or manage patients with multiple myeloma. Other oncology healthcare professionals, including nurses and pharmacists who manage patients with multiple myeloma, are also invited to participate.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the impact of risk stratification and treatment resistance on decision-making among patients with multiple myeloma in early relapse
  • Examine efficacy and safety results from clinical trials conducted among patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma in later lines of therapy
  • Apply mitigation strategies to reduce and treat adverse events associated with newer agents for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma
