Overview

The 2nd annual International Congress on Oncology Pathology™: Towards Harmonization of Pathology and Oncology Standards will provide the latest information on key topics in pathology that can readily be applied to clinical practice in a variety of settings. This event will bring together oncologists and pathologists to facilitate awareness of recent advancements in the field of cancer pathology and enhance multidisciplinary collaboration. Leading experts will address critical topics in pathology screening for malignancies commonly encountered in clinical practice. From a foundation of tumor-specific discussions, our clinical experts will appraise clinical guidelines, explore new concepts and clinical research, and address obstacles to optimizing practice. This will be a dynamic experience, allowing participants to engage with faculty as they share their perspectives and personal experiences on clinical challenges and ongoing controversies in the field of pathology. A variety of formats will be used to generate an exciting learning environment, including cutting-edge lectures, panel discussions, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and interactive question-and-answer sessions.

What to look for at this year’s meeting!

  • The expanded role of liquid biopsies in cancer management
  • Clinical updates and new considerations for microsatellite stability testing
  • The latest on emerging pan-tumor targets, including tumor fusions
  • A new approach to prognostic staging in breast cancer
  • Multidisciplinary approaches to bridge the gap between pathology and oncology
