Medical Crossfire®: Perfecting the Diagnosis and Treatment of EGPA: Patient Perspectives and Expert Insight

Release Date: July 29, 2020
Expiration Date: July 29, 2021

Activity Overview

This online, on-demand virtual symposium brings together a renowned multidisciplinary group of experts in the management of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) who discuss important aspects regarding early recognition and accurate diagnosis of the disease, with the goal of establishing early therapeutic intervention. The perspective of a patient with EGPA is incorporated into this educational activity, and the faculty discuss key points about the patient’s disease presentation, experience with treatment, and the importance of multidisciplinary care, in addition to other aspects of the patient’s personal journey with this disease. The etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical features of EGPA are also addressed and current and emerging therapeutic options are thoroughly explored. This program is designed to provide the audience with an opportunity to hear a genuine perspective from a patient and the unique chance to listen as faculty provide their expert insights into the patient’s care.

This educational activity is an archive of the live virtual symposium held on July 7, 2020.
