Activity Overview
This online activity is designed to update clinicians on data presented at the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer (SGO 2020), held March 28 to March 31, 2020, in Toronto, Canada, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology Virtual Scientific Program (ASCO 2020), held May 29 to June 2, 2020. The activity will help facilitate critical assessment and clinical integration of new evidence, when appropriate. The activity reviews 4 abstracts from these meetings that focus on ovarian and endometrial cancer. For each abstract, a text summary of key clinical data is accompanied by perspectives from expert thought leaders who provide insights into how clinicians can apply these findings to their clinical practice to improve patient care.

Target Audience
This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists and fellows who treat patients with gynecologic malignancies. Gynecologic oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals interested in the treatment and management of patients with gynecologic malignancies will be invited to participate.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Describe recent data from clinical trials investigating novel therapies for the treatment of gynecologic cancers
- Discuss the real-world implications of recently reported data from clinical trials in the management of patients with gynecologic cancers
- Explain the study design and eligibility criteria of ongoing clinical trials investigating therapies for the treatment of patients with gynecologic cancers
- Implement strategies for monitoring, identifying, and mitigating the risk of treatment-related toxicities associated with therapies used in the treatment of gynecologic cancers
