Community Practice Connections™: Exploring the Evolving Role of Digital Innovations for Clinical Decision Support is a series of brief interviews with experts in the field exploring clinical decision support (CDS) platforms for the medical management of patients with cancer. The video interviews address how these technologies can improve the delivery of precision medicine, the efficiency of tumor boards, and workflow. The program also addresses the challenges of integrating CDS technology into the clinic and strategies to overcome these challenges.

Target Audience
This activity is designed for oncologists, chief medical information officers, chief information officers, and information technology specialists involved in the treatment and management of cancer with digital solutions. Pathologists, fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, investigators, pharmacists, hospital administrators, and other healthcare professionals interested in the treatment or management of cancer are also invited to participate.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this educational activity, you should be better prepared to:
- Outline the clinical implications of tumor testing strategies for patients with cancer, including comprehensive genomic profiling, hotspot analysis, tissue and liquid biopsies
- Identify the role of multidisciplinary teams in facilitation and implementation of novel digital solutions in oncology care settings
- Assess methods to overcome barriers to personalized medicine and increase cancer screening, tumor boards, and clinical trial referral in the community setting
- Apply available digital solutions to develop evidence-based individualized treatment decisions for cancer patients
