Community Practice Connections™: HPV: Points of Prevention in Primary Care
Release Date: November 23, 2020
Expiration Date: November 23, 2021
Activity Overview
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is responsible for more than 40,000 cases of cancer in the United States annually. Though HPV vaccines have been available for approximately 15 years, below-target vaccination rates for teens and recently expanded recommendations for adults create unmet needs in primary care. This Community Practice Connections™ program provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from an online virtual symposium held in October 2020. This unique and engaging multimedia activity is ideal for the community-based clinician and focuses on the practical aspects of providing HPV vaccination, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. The program is designed for those who did not attend the virtual meeting and to help reinforce learnings for those who did.
