Activity Overview

This online activity is designed to provide a concise overview of treatment options for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and best practices for therapeutic decision-making. It covers ALS pathophysiology, discusses the clinical presentation and diagnostic evaluation in this setting, emphasizes the importance of multidisciplinary care, and evaluates the efficacy and safety of agents that modify the disease course of ALS. We also take a brief look at the future of gene therapy. Target Audience

This online educational activity is directed toward neurologists, internists, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), such as PCPs, NPs, and PAs.
