Activity Overview

This online educational activity is designed to provide expert interpretation of new and emerging data on the role of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for the management of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), with a forward-looking perspective on how new and novel agents might impact clinical practice. The essentials of the design and mechanism of action of ADCs, clinical data regarding current and emerging treatment strategies for TNBC, , and the management of ADC-related toxicities will be presented in a multimedia format, including a series of video interviews with an expert thought leader integrated into text-based elements.

Target Audience

This activity is directed toward oncologists involved in the treatment and management of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with TNBC will also be invited to participate.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

  • Determine the mechanism of action of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and the therapeutic rationale for using these agents in the treatment of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC)
  • Evaluate recent clinical trial data on the efficacy and safety of ADCs in the treatment of metastatic TNBC
  • Integrate available ADCs into individualized treatment plans for patients with metastatic TNBC
  • Develop strategies to mitigate and manage adverse events(AEs) in patients with metastatic TNBC who receive treatment with ADCs
