Activity Overview

This online educational activity is designed to provide expert interpretation of new and emerging data on the treatment of metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC), with a forward-looking perspective on how novel agents might affect clinical practice. The essentials of clinical trial data, current and emerging treatment strategies, multidisciplinary treatment approaches, and management of treatment-related toxicities will be presented in a multimedia format, including a series of video interviews with an expert thought leader integrated into text-based elements.

Target Audience

This educational program is directed toward urologists interested in the treatment of prostate cancer. Oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients with prostate cancer will be invited to participate.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

  • Discuss unmet needs in treatment of mCSPC and mechanistic rationale supporting the role of second- generation antiandrogen therapies in this setting
  • Review emerging strategies and data for treatment of patients with mCSPC
  • Devise strategies for optimizing patient selection as well as management of treatment-related adverse events among patients with mCSPC
  • Develop a multidisciplinary care plan for patients with mCSPC to integrate recent advances in current clinical practices
