Activity Overview

This Expert Illustrations and Commentaries is a video-based program in which expert faculty discuss the the mechanism of action of and recent clinical data on bispecific antibodies and bispecific T-cell engager agents (BiTEs) in patients with thoracic tumors. Their discussion is supplemented by video animations designed to help learners better understand the role of new and emerging agents. This unique format helps clinicians identify best practices in the diagnosis and management of thoracic tumors, and incorporate new clinical trial data in their practice to improve outcomes for their patients.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, oncology nurses, and other clinicians interested in the management of patients with solid tumors.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, you should be better prepared to:

  • Describe the structure and mechanisms of emerging PD-1/CTLA-4 bispecific antibodies being evaluated for the treatment of solid tumors
  • Describe the mechanistic differences between bispecifics utilizing dual checkpoint blockade and bispecific T-cell engagers, along with potential implications for efficacy and safety
  • Integrate the latest data for bispecific therapies into personalized treatment plans for patients with solid tumors
