Activity Overview
This Collaborating Across the Continuum® video-based program features 2 experts using a case-based approach to explore how mental health screening can be integrated into dermatology practice, recognizing the substantial psychological burden and elevated risk of suicidal ideation and behavior in individuals with psoriasis. Faculty review emerging evidence that biologic therapies may improve depressive symptoms by targeting shared inflammatory pathways, and provide practical guidance on screening, identifying red flags, and managing mental health crises. Designed to be engaging and clinically relevant, the program supports dermatology professionals in adopting best practices to improve outcomes for patients with psoriasis.
