Overview

The Rapid Reviews in Oncology® legacy format is a live, in-studio video broadcast to rapidly update physicians on data that will have been recently presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in June 2019. Chaired by renowned breast cancer expert and leading clinical researcher Joyce O’Shaughnessy, MD, this live-stream broadcast will consist of a panel discussion of ground-breaking data. Emerging data with the potential to change treatment for patients will be presented and discussed across the continuum of breast cancer. The expert panel will highlight the implications and applications of these data for your practice, helping you optimize care for your patients with breast cancer.

The live webcast will be broadcast across the United States on June 19, 2019 at 8pm EDT. The enduring activity will be available online as an archived webcast from June 30, 2019, to June 30, 2020.

Target Audience

This educational activity is directed toward medical oncologists and fellows who treat patients with breast cancer. Surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals interested in the treatment of breast cancer are also invited to participate.

  • Report recent evidence concerning novel treatment strategies from clinical trials conducted among patients with breast cancer
  • Assess the importance of ongoing and completed clinical trials informing the management of patients with breast cancer

I attest that if within the fourteen (14) days prior to the event, I am experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, I will not attend the Activities. I shall follow any safety, social distancing, masking, and hygiene protocols that have been implemented at the Activities, including providing proof at check in of being 2 weeks removed from receiving a full COVID-19 vaccination or results from a negative COVID-19 viral test taken no more than 3 days prior to the program.
