Overview

This activity combines a core curriculum developed by a steering committee of renowned experts in the medical management of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) with real-world cases that challenge learners to reflect on the application of the evidence to their own clinical practices. The Reflective Case-Based Oncology Collective™ joins clinical experts and community oncologists virtually to collectively consider the ramifications on care of new approaches to treatment in MDS.

Rapid advances in the understanding of MDS pathophysiology have led to shifts in the standard of care, with new approaches to risk stratification as well as symptom and disease control. However, translation of clinical trial data into practice remains a significant challenge, particularly in the community setting, where clinicians may see only sporadic cases of MDS.

Benefits of Attending

  • Engage with expert faculty on challenging case scenarios in MDS
  • Learn about the treatments most likely to affect care in the near future
  • Bring your pressing clinical questions to an interactive, intimate session
